ok so my oil temp gauge, fuel gauge and water temp gauge went out on me and reads wrong or doesn't work. what should i do? my speedo and tach works fine.

Megan is good ass exhaust.
my buddy had it on his evo.
superb quality, fitment, and finish.

Well worth the cheapness they are!
If I didnt get such a good deal on my Apexi N1, that was what I was going to order.
But instead I got mine, slightly used and a downpipe to match my Evo3 o2:)

Crazy - check fuses. wires in the eninge bay, etc.

i've already checked the fuses. i just filled up my tank yesterday and i filled it to the rim and i sat at the gas station and waited for my gauge to move and it didn't do anything. oil pressure doesn't sit at zero or L when i turn on the car and still doesn't do anything when i drive. Also with the water temp it goes pass C instead right at the cold start but when driving it reading is a little off. would it be easier to get all aftermarket gauges or go to pull a part and get a new insterment panal? i also have a new dash gauges not installed for indiglo white face wise but idk what i should do. thanks Zak btw :)

indiglo is for wierdos and creeps.

aftermarkget gauges are a plus, but your not making serius power, so its really up to you.

i only got the indiglo because they were at a yard sale in snohomish for $20 and clear corner/markers for $10 so just said what the hell i'll get them because they were cheap. also i could sell them and make a profit :sneaky:

I ordered reverse glow gauges  they look nice, and they also have Boost, Oil Press, Ex. Temp, Water Temp, and so on in the same look and color, which I will also order...:D

I like things to match. Cant stand cars with glow gauges, then other guages look different.

I might attend in about the monday after the next.
Some guy pulled up behind me one day and asked me if I wanted to come at 8 PM. I came at 7:30 because I had to be home at 8 but there was a total of 2 DSM's from what I saw haha

Was that you in the CRX that showed up late with the GVR4?

Yep that was me. My eclipse is leaking oil on the timing belt and a couple of the plugs smell like oil and gas, plus my valve stem seals are shot and the car was burningoil pretty bad before the timing belt problem showed up. So it'll be awhile before I get it fixed but it's going to be done right this time no matter how long it takes. Plus the CRX is a fun car and it gets great gas mileage so I'm not complaining and no it does not have the stock engine, it's got a little something extra.;)

Chris - You should see my gauges with my stockers.

Discontinued Defi D-Series for the mutha ###kin win!
They match perfectly. I just need to hunt down an oil press. gauge.

But my boost and EGT are awsome. Match exactly like stock, as if they were made for DSMs.

Pics upon request :)
Or just search on tuners gallery.

CPBandMan - What car was it that you saw? or talked to your anyway? I'm also now wondering who it was that if we have a luker seattle member planning to come out just hasn't spoken about it :)

Jordan - Where the F are you?
Jason - I miss yooh! :D

So who all is coming THIS monday?

EDIT:
OIL PUMP and TIMING COVER has now been ordered.
MY DSM should make the first monday meet of september, if not sooner.

What you got under that little hood then? B18C by chance? Thats the common fast swap for the CRX from what I understand.

It has a B18A from a '90-'91 Integra. Whoever did the swap did some shit to it though, I won't know what until I tear it down but the plan is to build it as an N/A motor. But it only weighs 2,020 lbs with a half tank of gas so it gets up and moves pretty good. I sill have some work to do to it but I only paid $800 for it so I'm not complaining.

You going high compression and ITBs? ITBs sound the mutts nuts. Real nice, and the amount of power you can get from the bitty motor whith a high C/R, ITBs, High lift cams, and ported out head...... yummy. Wish I could be around to see that build..

What do you mean by did some shit to it? Bad stuff, or maybe some forged internals?

There is a company in Vegas that does great things with honda motors. Cant remember the name for the life of me. I 'll let you know when it comes back to me.

List has been updated. I would suggest people go out to their local value village places and get bowling shoes. $4 for shoes is teh ghey.

Sorry I didn't make the meet... Worked late today, then got home and my new HKS fliter and hardpipe had arrived with the SSQV. (Don't worry, I'm using the re-circ kit that came with it). Tried to get it all done before I was to head down there. Had all the right parts come with it, I would have had it done in time, had to hack the hose between the filter and sensor (was too long hood wouldn't shut). Also had to dig around for bolts that were not supplied. took 30 minutes just to get the fitting around the sensor and hardpipe. The SSQV was not attached to the mounting kit (expected it to be, as it was in for my skyline). SSQV is not on the car yet, dont have the right tool to use for the C ring that goes in to lock it down. Need to buy hose to go from SSQV to inlet.... By the time I got her done, it was 730 and hadent even showered yet... So, sorry, I'll be there next monday, but wont stay too late (gotta get up at 5am to go to work. On the bright side: It does quite nice with that new filter andhardpipe. The stock BOV is pretty loud now too (unexpected). Also took the restrictor out of the wastegate actuator solinoid. Now I need to get the exhaust system on...

Hope it was a blast tonight....

See ya'll next monday..

Chris

yeah we were waiting for you and mitsuman to show up but it was ok. sounds like the gst is going to sound hella nice by next time we see it! :thumb:

I didn't make it out either.

Issue list:

Overheating - Fan fuse blew on the way back from Eastern Washington. Luckily DsmLink told me in time (CEL set to a certain temp) and I was able to pull over. I lost a LOT of coolant, but it was not TOO bad. Fan will not come on though so

Exhaust leak - Exhaust leaks out the open dump pipe after car is fully warm. Suspect the gasket to be bad or spring to be warped from the excessive heat. :notgood:

Kayla - I hadn't seen her in a week and wanted to spend some time with her. :rocks:
