.....Nothing against kelford but the kelford 272's as we know them are way bigger than any other 272.They should go nice, But In my opinion I would get a set of basic 272's to compliment and spool that hx-35 even nicer.
If your suggesting that a larger duration camshaft such as a "272" will help promote quicker spool..... Well it won't. Your wrong.
I'm not being a prick, Just stating a fact.
The webs will be better than stock, but will certainly be one of the first limiting factors in your set up. I would sell them spend a little extra cash grab some 272 which will be near perfect. If you are running smim etc, i would get it dynoed with the 264's first if you have them and post the results, then we can much better tell you whats going to be a good choice and you can alwasy sell them used.
What are your whp goals, purpose for build, desired boost, and where do you feel comfortable reving to on your set up?
