water to air intercooler

I would like everyone's pros and cons to running a water to air intercooler on my 2g talon it has these parts. 16g turbo, 3inch gm maft, header, Arp headstuds, 560 injectors, truboost ebc, uego wideband

What I gathered is, good for drag racing, not so great for a street car.

if your looking for squeezing out every possible hp then it is one of many ways. for a street car it is hardly worth it and will not make any major noticeable gains. quite a few people run a co2 or n2o spray bar to "freeze" the intercooler and this drops intake temps ALOT. a good rule of thumb for any engine: for every 10* you lower intake air temp you can see about 1% overall power increase. hope this helps
