I bought a clean "rebuilt" transmission off some jackass, and while it was being installed about 2 cups of water spilled out with oil particles. My partner and I tilted it completely sideways for a few min and nothing else came out.
I was just wondering if that requires a rebuild. The water looked clear with no dirt particles. I don't know how long the waters been in there either
After the water drained.. some sludge came out from the inside. Argh, i'm letting it sit at a weird angle until most of the sludge drains out. THere are still no signs of metallic bits.
