my friend and i put on a 14b on his car and now he cant get full boost, we think it might be the wastegate actuator because its pretty hard to open and close and he said that he can feel air comming out of it (the actuator) when he opens it. boost only go's up to about 7-8 psi max and it starts to spool up around 5k rpm. need some secon opinions if youve had experiance like this before or if you just know alot about this stuff. thanks.

Hey, Your going to want to make sure the wastegate is closing all the way. I had the same problem and my wastegate happend to be stuck open ever so slightly. A good fix is to space the Wg actuator. put 1 or 2 washers between the actuator and the comp housing and that should pull the flapper tight. Goodluck...other than that check for terrible cracks at the outlet of the WG in the housing. Also Boost leaks and Exhaust leaks before the turbo. I would start with all these things.
