ok i just installed my profec b controller, took it for a test drive and all that good stuff. the wastegate(external with it dumping into atmos.) opened nice but now the wastegate is acting up, you can hear it open and close. the only thing i can think of is somehow the vacuum lines are leaking somewhere or for some reason there is a problem with the turbo, any more ideas for when i got to take a closer look? oh and it seems like it does it alot more in 3rd gear, 2nd it does it faintly to where its always open but u can kinda hear the pitch change a little

Only thing I would sugggest doing is testing the whole system.

Do you have a boost leak tester?

Once you pressurize the system a leaking boost line connection will show up. Then just clamp/zip tie off any leaks.

Other than that, I don't know much about Profec B EBC's but, I do know that a small leak is how a Boost controller regulates the cars' boost level.

Are you sure its operating properly?
