Waste gate actuator?

my 92 gst wont hold full boost it just bleeds off real quick. i did a BLT and only had pressure escape my dipstick tube.....i got a new PCV valve and the problem still is there. I did a compression check and got 135psi all the way acrossed....Could my wastegate be cuasing this problem? thanks

OO ya for sure. Pre turbo exhaust leaks and wastegate problems can easily drastically change the way you boost...

your waste gate could be the problem you said you did a leak down test but their could be other places like the thorttle body and bov that are leaking.. do you have a full down pip or have a cat??

All i have is a greddy bov and a buschur cat back...can i get an aftermarket wastegate accuator? mitsubishi discontinued them.....if i can could some one show me which one will directly bolt on to my 92 eclipse gst automatic? also i was wondering it it could cause blow by oil in my intercooler pipes?

oil in your intercooler pipes is there alot? sounds like blown turbo seals. leaking oil into the compressor housing. unless is coming from the intake, in which case you have a problem their. either way you need to look into it asap. could be something small.

there isnt a ton but there is a little more than a slight spray in the lines....Keep in mind my 1g has 60,000 orginal miles, not like it matters but yeah.
