walbro 255 differences 1g and 2g

I have a walbro 255 pump that came out of my friends 1g awd I wen to put it in my 2g awd and it looks like the bottoms are 180 degrees apart As in the pick up from the bottom of each pump is opposite from each other any one have this problem pictures coming soon.

Uhm yeah. We know it's different. That's why they make pumps for specific applications. I got a 1g pump and all I did was twist the bracket about 90* and it fit. Kind of like a no brainer.

What did you twist the top part?
