Starting to build a 2G A/T for my drag car and am curious what people are doing for the front differential, if anything. I plan on welding the center diff but curious what others are doing with their front diffs. Car is making over 500hp and 400tq, new engine build will be pushing 50+hp more on the auto. Thanks for the read!

dont weld front diff at that powr level LOL im doing an auto build too

I never mentioned welding the front diff. I said I am welding the center diff. There are a couple options that could work in the front diff from quaife, to wavetrac, to TRE's ripgrip... just trying to get a feel for what has been working well for the higher HP autos.

On my old 5-spd setup I left the stock front differential. It was fast. I did the same thing on my auto build, and I do not anticipate it will affect anything.
