Hey, I have a GT13(60-1)internal gated turbo running 25psi. While logging 4th gear(2000-7000rpm),dsmlink, I have noticed that there is flutter in the airflow and the boost gauge is clearly going up/down about 1.5 psi. The turbo will flow 45lb/min but the boost will fall off to 23 near 7000 rpm. There are no boost leaks and the internal actuator is pre loaded to 19 psi.. It flows OK at 21psi. Is the wastegate simply too weak to hold the pressure?? any help would be great..

Yes, the internal gate is not strong enough to hold that amount of boost w/out creeping/ dropping off a bit. Its time to upgrade to external, youll love it, and never go back to internal.
