does anyone know where the speed input sensor. i know where the vss is but i guess the other side to that is the input sensor.. i dont know where to look. i have a 99 eclipse 420a 5spd.

What exactly are you referring to? The only thing is the vss itself mounted on the transmission around the back area under the throttle body. It's a 3 wire sensor: one power, one ground, and signal. The signal is sent back to the ecu, then out to the dashboard to display on speedometer. I have no idea what is this speed input sensor of which you speak.
