got the VRSF FMIC friday right before work, just in time for the weekend =D. I was wondering what to do with the coolant tank? Also I relocated the A/T cooler to where the SMIC was, that was pretty crafty, also looping the P/S is a must, that shitty metal pipe isnt doing shit. Overall the install was easy but I got to hack happy with the radiator support beam, also using primmer on where u cut was a must and I also added RTV after it dried so the metal doesn't cut the silicone coupler.

probably took 3 hours, totally worth it because I also removed my A/C too, :DROFL:hellyeah:

EDIT: I know the pics show I have the right head lights out, that was just to get to the P/S hoses.

looks good, the only thing i would keep in mind is the positioning of the clamps. Remember if you get a boost leak or something like that you don't want to have to rip half your front end apart to get to a clamp, i've made that mistake before. As far as the coolant tank, are you talking about the overflow? if so, go to your local parts store and see if they have a universal overflow, usually they are a lot smaller and easier to place and will still only run you like $15.

Hey you messed up on the rubber bushing. You were actually suppose to fit it right in between the the intercooler bracket and the radiator support just to give you the needed space. But from the looks of it yours fits fine anyway.

I enjoyed your vid paintballa. Looking at how nice ## engine bay looks made me feel like crap!!!! LOL.
Very nice job and good looking bay bro.

edit: I am glad, i have to say, that i bought the PR kit. It fit very well. Needed alot of bumper cover trimming to fit but the pipe routing is perfect. Even kept stock fans with my big 'ol pte. Fog lights were unaffected as well. If i were running a 14b/16g i would have had some work to do though. That jpipe can be a PITA.

It looks just like mine although be careful because after a few miles the the fog light bracket holes where the intercooler is mounted to actually broke on me. So for now my intercooler is zip tied on and you're lucky yours came with bolts that fit the bracket too! Haha

actually I had to run and get bolts, I found 2 grade 11 bolts that were perfect but I plan on tapping it really soon.

also just did the monster can for the coolant :coy: kinda wish NOS made a can like that LOL

Looks good, I did the same on my car and also relocated my trans cooler to the smic stock location. I ended up drilling and tapping the stock fog light bracket holes for some m8x1.25 bolts I got at fastenal, grade 8. I've never had an issue since. I bought a few extras just in case. They weren't very expensive at all.

hmmm I thought the bolts they sent were suppose to fit the talons? idk I am just really confused by the bolts but whats done is done LOL.

EDIT: also for people searching and thinking about the VRSF FMIC Doubleot was right m8x1.25 bolts, I think mine were 65mm in length, just toss the ones they sent
