hey i have recently been upgrading my car and begining to out flow the mas. I was just wondering what the pros and cons of VPC and AFC vs. DSMlink and which one you would suggest. I dont know much about link so im trying trying to learn. Any helpful suggestions would be wonderful thanks !

Buy DSMLink, you won't regret it. My car gained a full second in the quarter mile going from SAFC to DSMLink with no other changes. I didnt even have it tuned yet, that was plug and play. Keep in mind my tuning with the SAFC was just as minimal however.

What else did you upgrade with the DSMLink. I HIGHLY doubt you gained a full second in the quarter just by plugging in link. No way.

Nothing changed. But, Like I said my tuning on the SAFC was far from good. I was just too uncomfortable with screwing with settings on that blind far the most part. I went from a 14.1 at 97 last year to a 13.1 at 104 this year. 13.1 isn't exactly great, but for setting deadtime/pulsewidth in the link and taking it to the track it's not half bad. Ill let you know how it goes when I throw my EVO in and get some good tuning time with it.

Wow an 11.2 and you don't know what to run. Kinda crazy.

You have a couple of options. You could upgrade to a 2G MAF. I've heard of some people even running a evo 8 one but that's just hear/say.

I would go with dsmlink and GM MAF translator for your setup.

Seriously though you should know what to do :thumb: .

This is his little brother i dont have an account set up yet. Im doing this all on my own with out his help. Just trying to see what people thought of VPC and Link. An 11.2 is very respectable but it dont mean you know everything tho.
