viscous lsd and drivetrain problems

so my gsx is auto, i had it on the lift and running to figure out were the clunking is coming from and annoying griding/vibrations! i noticed on the rear lsd it said VISCOUS LSD on a white stickers, and them some asian letters or something, also should the driveshaft have play up and down, you can push it up and down a bit, we also had someone go inside and hit the gas and had it going at 100mph and we couldnt get any noises out of the driveline, but when i drive for a while its quite then i go over a bunp and clunk clunk, then grinding noises, and then when i hit the brakes hard and it downshifts its got like a harsh kick, the whole driveshaft is rust along with all the joints on it

Sounds like maybe bad u-joints and carrier bearings, your drive shaft could be binding up and the bad carrier bearings could be allowing the drive shaft to move up and down too much.

I don't know why you're asking about the LSD, but your noise is probably the driveshaft carrier bearing, or its mount.

yea im gonna to get it on the lift again today and call up mitsubishi for the parts, along with a new ignition control module that died on my yesterday
