I take it this whole proposal is completely dead?

ZiggysDSM said:It looks like all the interest from the main people who go has been lost. So i dont think this will happen at this date, but i am researching for another date later on in the end of the summer towards fall.
marcmsj said:End of summer I think would be best at this point. We tried establishing a date but it seemed that no one could agree on anything. I'll be talking to a few people and making definate plans with a definate date. If you can join then great, and if not then sorry. We can't keep changing things... that's what makes it fall apart. We'll pick a date that would give people plenty of time to plan things.
Ryan95tsiAWD said:when does the off season start? Would there still be anyone there then?

Doug99RS said:Um, I know there's a few more DSM boards popping up here in the SE but honestly don't you think the details about an annual meet started and continued by DSMTuners members ought to be hashed out over here and then all the other forums made aware? I by no means don't want to start a pissing contest but I'm only a member on two DSM sites. My state and here. I really wouldn't want to have to register on 48 different sites to be brought up to speed on things. Wouldn't you agree?
Thanks,
Doug

I was just trying to get a solid date setup so I could schedule that with the owners of the location we pick. I know how these threads go on and the date keeps changing to try and accomidate everyone that wants to come....which is fine to a degree. People keep coming up saying that date doesen't work for me and guess what its not going to work for everyone...plain and simple.
So I guess I will let you all handle this and take a seat off to the side then. Sorry for intruding.
Good luck with everything and I will be there whenever/wherever you have it. I look forward to meeting everyone!
ZiggysDSM said:the problem is that this hasnt ever been done twice in one year .
I'm sorry you misunderstood what I was trying to say so let me try and explain it again.Pj97GST said:Actually Doug, I couldn't disagree more. Seeing as a better part of the SoVaDSM guys are also Tuners members as well, Aggression is just trying to help solidify the details so we can help plan accordingly on our end. I think that if the arrangements get carried over to the other forums that cater to the area, you will get a better response. (i.e. locations for get togethers, sleeping accomodations, etc.) Again, most everyone in the area is a Tuners member, so I think that input from all aspects is warranted.
It's not like SoVaDSM guys are trying to steal the thunder; we just figure that since we are local, we could help take some of the hassle out of some of the arrangements and thereby make it easier for some of you guys that will be coming in from out of the area.
Last that I was aware of, aside from Team Trinity; SoVa DSM is the only other organized group of enthusiasts geographically tied to the area.
Personally, I could give a shit about this. My man is trying to help the process, and basically being told to get bent for his input.
