2G Viper Remote Start Issues

When i bought my 98 eclipse spyder gs, it had a viper remote start installed. However the system has issues that i need fixed. I can start my car with the remote just fine, but it wont start with the key alone. Also, i have to unlock my door with the key if the car isnt on.. because if i unlock it with the remote the alarm goes off.

Any info or suggestions would be great, thanks.

Chack all wiring for the system, make sure it's wired correctly. Shouldn't be too difficult to find the wiring diagrams for the system.
