So I installed my viper 5701 today but I'm having problems with setting the parking light polarity. It has two settings for the Parking Light Polarity, one so it outputs a + signal and one so it outputs a - signal. I hooked the wire up to the parking light wire that is on the left side of the center console I just need to know which setting to use for a 1g dsm.

Have you figure this out yet? If not, the parking light output should be a green/white (which is + polarity) wire above where the hood release is. If you want tap it in the steering column it should be the blue/white or Gray color wire (should be - polarity). Always test the polarity and make sure its the right wire for what you are looking for before you tap the wires.

How did you go about finding the wire by the center console?
