Hey Everyone, Jonny Walker from you know where.
We have a solution for non turbo 1G blocks ( yea people have done this before, but not as precise as this). If you have a Non Turbo 6 Bolt, or Non Turbo 1G 7 Bolt, OR a Non Turbo 6G72, we have the tooling and machines to make it happen. Its pretty simple really.. Castings are the same, just need to be machined to accept the oil squirters. See, the problem is, they are step milled, which cannot be done with a hand drill. The crush washers on the squirter keep oil pressure to the nozzle. If you where to do this with a drill, and keep the original casting surface, you would not seal, leak out oil pressure, and not have a successful conversion.
We have had this conversion in the making for about 2 years now. We have had the custom Burchett Quality Tool ( Designed by my Dad - Old Man Tim Walker - Age 62 who drive a bad A 3/S
that we built him) for over 2 years now. We tried it in some of our less sturdy equipment, but they where not powerful enough to do the mill correctly. NOW we have the INDEX
which will mess you up. It is by far the heaviest thing I have ever had to deal with. We had to run 3 Phase power to the building just to run the thing.
Anyways, here is the video of it chompin through the job, its pretty cool, since it has so much power, and it can machine within a half of a thousandth
.

I hope you guys like the video, I made if for you guys!!
Jon
PS - To not add any confusion, you cannot do this to 2G Blocks, they have oil squirters in the main saddles. Also, 94ish and later 3/S Blocks cannot do the conversion LIKE THIS. We have a different one in the making.
EVO GUYS GOOD NEWS!!
We can do this for 4G64 3rd Gen Blocks, BUT, its not what you think, its more like a 2G Conversion
, but totally do-able... Ill have some more pics in a few weeks
