Seriously, Haynes/chiltons manual will have directions. So will the DSM CD Manual. Invest in them.

Drain fluids
Take valve cover off
Unbolt cam gears
Take head studs out
Unbolt exhaust manifold
Unbolt intake manifold support
Remove waterneck and any other hoses and crap
Take head off
Clean head and block surface
Put on new headgasket, be sure to use headgasket spray
Put all the stuff back together
Theres some crap about timing and all but who needs that
Check the vfaq and find a manual/backup when you break everything
