Ok, so I just received most of the parts I ordered last week and I've got a dumb question. I ordered a EVO-MR bov, Dejon tools boost controler, Lo-tek A-piller gauge pods, boost gauge, and an intake:rocks: :rocks: . Now the only part I didn't get today was the boost gauge. I want to put something on and since my car is completely stock, can I install the BOV? The reason I assume it's ok is that my car is stock other than the waste gate solenoid restriction is removed, so it shouldn't be producing any harmfull boost right?

To answer your question, it is fine to install the evo BOV. I would reccomend installing an accurate boost gauge prior to the installation of the BOV though, just to see/know what your boost levels were prior and after the installation of the BOV. Remember, that the 2nd gen stock BOV leaks around 14psi, and you are likely around that boost level with the restrictor removed from the factory boost control solenoid.

Thanks, that was pretty much my assumtion. I might put it on and then when I get the gauge installed, put the stocker back on to check the PSI. Then re-install :thumb:

I just went out and installed the BOV. I drove it up and down the street and could tell a difference in both sound and when the boost hits. I'm now possitive that the stocker was leaking pretty bad. Can't wait to install the rest of the parts!!!
