valves are tapping the pistons

Ok so i had my motor rebuilt and a week later my water pump took a crap, the engine overheated and took the head gasket with it. I removed the head had it pressure checked, valves ran and the surface was warped ten thousandths. I had it resurfaced and installed a new triple layer stainless steel cometic gasket. Got everything put back together and now the valves are tapping the pistons. the head has been shaved too many times but someone told me i could get a thicker head gasket. Is this true? If so where can i find one??? Thanx!

I would think that a triple layer is as thick as they would come..
