Springs is the only thing keeping me from closing up this engine.

GRP Aluminum Rods
Manley Pistons
ARP fasteners
BC288 Cams
SMIM
GT35R
Shep stage 4 trans
8.8 Explorer Live axel
4-Link back half.

Building this car for Drag Week and weekend warrior fun. This is a 2.0 engine, will be spinning the motor to 9k to get everything out of this GT3582R. Are Kiggly Beehives the end all spring for performance, price, and longevity? Or am i overlooking other brands that are not race only and that will be kind to the valve train during drag week torture and weekend fun. Car will see plenty of street use.

Not sure what he calls them now. They are the beehives, but with steel retainers, not titanium. I don't like running titanium retainers on high pressure springs on cars that will rack up the miles.

on the kiggly page, the steel retainer beehives will work with factory valve seats. does this mean the seats need to be changed to use the titanium retainer beehives?
