valve cover leaks!!!

so i replaced my gasket on the valve cover due to a leak and it still leaks. do i need a new valve cover or should i get some sealent. its in the typical half moon area. also not all my bolts tighten as i think they may be stripped. is there a way to get them to tighten without getting a new head?

Did you replace the half moon grommets also or just the gasket?

If it's just in the half-moon area, I would just use sealant.

One would think you should investigate why the bolts wont tighten before you wonder why it leaks. If you stripped the head out you could heli-coil it.

the bolts not tightening down is most likely your problem, i would try sealant cause i'm ghetto.

The manual calls for sealant/rtv on the half moon portion of the gasket.
