Hey guys I'm doing some matinence work during the winter and I was thinking of replacing all the vacuum lines but came across the taboo vacuum delete image and am definatly considering doing it to reduce chance of boost leaks and head aches. My question is, with all the emissions equipment that it would basically be deleting, will I be okay for daily driving? I don't have inspection where I live so the legality is not an issue. My understanding of the EGR system is to cool the cylinders which is the part making me think if it would be okay for daily driving. Any input would be much appreciated.

Depending on where you take your car to be inspected, they might realize what capped off vacuum lines mean. It's a good idea to switch to a throttle body with less vacuum nipples. I've routed plugged dummy hoses to behind my intake manifold before, just to avoid that hassle.

My friend just had issues getting inspected last week because of this.

I know someone that does it regardless if it passes or not :). Its a little pricey but hey, gotta do what you gotta do. So im not worried about emissions even though i live in cali

I don't know about anyone else but the rubber vacuum caps don't last long on my car, they begin to crack after a few months. I bought some vinyl caps that you soak in hot water or use a lighter to make them soft, install them and they shrink into place without using a zip tie to keep them on. Lasted 6 months so far no issues.
