I am doing alot to my car as we speak at the shop. lots of new part and gaskets etc....

I am removing the canister from the emeissions. What do i do with the line that I beleive goes to my fuel tank. it is attached to the can right now and dont know what to do with it!!!

Just leave it, I just did the same. The only thing I know is it will smell like gas on warm days. Also, I ma not sure if we got venting gas caps, but you may be able to cap it off, that way it doesnt smell like gas up there, but ONLY if we have a vented gas cap.

You can leave it open to the atmosphere. If you choose to you can put a piece of line on the end of it to direct all the fumes and everything downward, away from the engine bay.

I used a plastic "T" type connector (but a straight one) which allowed me to add about an extra foot and a half or so of 3/8" hose to that line. Connected a small breather filter to the end of it, and routed it down under the passenger fender.

This keeps the smell and fumes away from the inside of the car and out of the engine bay for the most part.

What does this have to do with the EGR? Your title is misleading and as what was said just leave the line open with the check valve in place.
