ok i just installed my boost gauge and it sits at about 18 for vaccum but doesnt hit boost untill almost redline where it spikes to about 5psi. i dont know what the issue is but i am planning on installing a front mount and doing a vacc line delete. would a vac leak/ boost leak be the cause of this?

Where are you taped into with your line? Any kinks in the line?

i tapped into the p port and i also tried the fpr line both with the same result. and there arent any kinks in the line.

Okay, keep it in the FPR line though, but next thing would be to do a boost leak test.

im not going to bother with a boost leak test as of yet as i am buying a frontmount setup and will figure that out at that time. aswell as i am going to replace any vac lines i do keep with new ones.
