Has anyone used the AEM to control Boost? Can someone confirm that connections... polarity is not important... right? One of the wires goes to 12V and the other goes to PW #2. Do I then use the wizard? At what point do I start defining the Duty Map? How do I set peak boost... as to prevent overboosting due to creep or what not?

From the user manual I get:

. Open AEMPro and connect to the EMS
· Confirm that the throttle position is set properly (closed < 1%, WOT > 95%)
· Confirm the AFR so that the vehicle has sufficient fuel for boosting.
· Open the Boost Control Template and turn the Boost W/G Output option ON.
· Set the Boost/Idle PW TPS to 25%.
· Set the Boost W/G Frequency, Boost Duty Maximum, and Boost Duty
Minimum options according to the manufacturer specifications.
· Set the Fuel Cut Load option to eliminate any possible overboosting.
· Turn ON Boost From Load if using a MAF sensor for the engine load input.
· Set the "boosted" section of the Boost WG Base Duty Map to 50%.
· Set your boost target in the Boost Target Speed table and/or the Boost Target
RPM-TH map but turn OFF Boost WG Feedback.
· Log the parameters in the Boost Control Template (most importantly Engine Load
and Boost WG Out).
Save this log and view it in the AEMLog software.
· From the log, the proper open loop wastegate duty can be determined.

All of this is either in the manual or on the AEM forums. I had all of the same questions you do when I first got my EMS. I spent days on the AEM forums, and reading the manual. I found that the best approach was to do my own research and try to figure it all out by myself. It makes troubleshooting a lot easier down the road. Boost conrol is actually one of the easier parts. There are a few really good write ups on the AEM forum.
