Urgent Question :P

Newbie has a question ~! And urgent one , When push the key to ignition the rpm gauge and the spedotmer goes over 60 and the rpm to 3,000 I start the car and stays like that ! And the battery light comes up on the dash! Need help ASAP

either your alternator or fuse is going or you have a short

That's the theory but I unplug the line of the alternator and still , both cable on the alternator , and still having issue ,

Sounds like a ground problem. Try taking off battery cables for a minute or so and the put back on to reset ecu and try that first.

Well than yeah that would most definitely be a short somewhere take care of it soon mine is currently sitting because it had a short and burnt the whole wiring harness its been a month already

I rested the ecu like 10 times and still , and I have good ground on the car,~ @#! I don't know what else to check , ! everything is in order ! any more ideas ?

Check you battery..Clean the terminals a check terminal connections a bad ground can do funny things to a car...

As I mentioned before it gotta be a short somewhere dont wait to long to check that look at what happened to mine just for waiting 8 hours until I came out of my job So make sure to take care of it

Check your EGR Tube and or connections, make sure Its not touching any wires.

My whole car shut down on the freeway doing about 70mph in the fastlane in rush hour traffic. NOT FUN

Nah it was a damn short under the dash board and ended up burning the whole wiring in the damn car I should be done with it later on today though

Ok I found one 12v touching the chassis , it was the remote for the radio , but the speedometer is still at 60 km ajaj im still looking for a other cable , that is doing the short , !
