I purchased this upper/lowing piping for my 97 GST. I was told it would fit my car but I cant see how. Has anyone else purchased this?? Do you have any idea where these pipes go? The S Pipe looks like it replaces the BOV piping and then goes under the MAF, but its not a snug fit at all... I'm a newb to mechanics, so i might be doing something wrong. Its supposedly a "A COMPLETE UPPER AND LOWER 3 PIECE PIPE KIT" and a "SUPER SOUND BLOW OFF TURBO BYPASS VALVE" Is having a new BOV and a BOV bypass the same thing?

I think the piping runs as seen in the picture with yellow trace lines... but it doesnt fit correctly...

i dont see where is would bolt up to your tb? unless it uses the stock elbow. that "kinda s pipe" has only 3 bolt holes. the piece on the top looks like the piping the runs under the fuse box to the smic. idk just my 2 cents

There are no flanges like that 3 bolt piece on the intercooler piping. Post a link to where you bought it hopefully you can send it back for the right set. The 2 other pieces look like you could get them to fit that upper highlighted section, but that definitely isnt the lower i/c pipe. the lower is an s shaped pipe.

Hey just to chime in. I bought a three piece upper Ic pipe for my 1G I asked the vendor before I bought it if it was going to fit because the picture looked nothing like my stock upper ic pipe. It was bending all kind of ways and looked like something that came off a space shuttle. He replied "read caption by pic". I was like wtf kind of answer is that and went and looked. "Note image does not always represent actual product you will get". :ohdamn: Mine had some fit probs as well but I made one cut and it went right on.

Its doesnt say anything about the item pictured might not be the same as you'd receive. I think you bought yourself an crappy upper i/c pipe that will leak boost at the flange of the BOV. (from what i can see anyway) Dont buy cheap parts for your dsm unless you want to repair/replace things. I wouldnt use it personally. You can get the upper and lower from a member here im sure, also much cheaper. There are tons of parts in the classifieds. Even if it was a used piece it works the same unless its bent or cracked. Live and learn... And use the search button next time to see where people have found cheap quality piece/parts for their dsm's.:thumb:GL
