ok I drove my car just fine and parked it, due to running crazy rich. I picked up a good DD to do all the maintenance to my talon. I replaced the rod bearings, headgasket, timing belt, both intake and exhaust gasket, plugs and wires, ect. I rubber die grinded the head valve surface, exhaust surface, and intake surface. Also I ran a small wire wheel in and out of the ports to remove all the carbon build up.

After I installed the head and did the timing, the car would just crank but not start. Then my work mechanic and I tested everything out. I have power/ground/signal to my CAS and crank sensor. I have spark in all the plugs/wires, and 12.69 volts on my battary.

Car still crank and cranks and cranks no starts. So I went out and got a compression tester, and im showing 170 170 170 168 across the board. Hmm Im seriously going crazy here. I tryed to start the car with my gm maf and maft, and also tryed it with the oem 2g maf grrrrrr.

If you crank the car with the ECU OUT, its cranks nice and smooth no locking. Yet if you plug the ECU IN, the car cranks and literally stops/slows down in the cranking stroke after a few rotations. My ECU was just great prior to me doing all the maintenance.

WHen I had the ECU in and I cranked the car, it sounded like it was trying to FIRE on the exhaust side not intake. Now the Timing is dead on, The cams come together right in the middle (not slittest < alinment), and the crank and balance shaft, and oil pump line up perfectly.

All I have to say is :banghead::banghead::banghead: HELP ME START

NEW starter also

also if you have aftermarket cam gears on they have to be timed a different way then stock, at least BC is that way. like said above it could still be your CAS or it might even be the ECU.
