well, we aquired a 99 eclipse rs in the shop earlier this week. i took the foot feeds off it for the car. brake, clutch, and gas pedals with master cylinders are all sepperate, unlike the 1g's are. this will work perfectly for my project. i took them home last night and tacked them in place. they will work with some modding. the brake and clutch pedals both jog to the right quite a bit, and i do not need them to do so because my firewall is back about 8 inches so i have no wheel well to contend with now. i will be straightening them out soon, making a bracket to bolt them to, and installing them soon enough.
on another note, when i ordered my cell and seat and box, jegs said my seat will ship out on the 13th, well, it is backordered for 4-5 weeks now! i called them this morning and swapped over to a kirkley seat that is in stock instead of the rci seat. my seat will be here tuesday the 19th now. then i can finish this chassis building up and start in on the aluminum.
in the meantime, i will be running fuel and brake lines and ordering AN fittings, perhaps a fuel pump if funds will allow at the moment.
