Undecided on head... Need help!!!

Hi, i was wondering if i can get some advice or help if possible. I'm undecided on my head right now. I'm thinking about getting a port job on the head and getting oversize valves, but at the same time i dont want to do the port job and oversize valves. I heard its well as good to just stay stock port and stock valves or (aftermarket valves stock size)..? I'm trying to hit mid 500hp or more if possible. What i have on the head so far: HKS 272 in/ex, 3rd gen lifters, crower single spring and retainers... whats good/bad about going oversize and getting a port job vs non-porting and stock size valves? Any thoughts/suggestion would be great! Thank You!

The idea is that porting and over size valves will allow for more air flow, but that is not always true. There are several threads already about porting vs non-porting and flow tests.

To answer your question, you can make that power on stock valves and non-porting.
