I recently just did short throw mod off vfaq. I did it to my specs on my 91 using 90 awd tranny. When u swap a 90 tranny in a 91 u must change brackets that hold shifter cables and swap the selector arm bolted on. It gives u a shorter throw without modification. But, you will not have stops.aka BROKEN SHIFTFORKS Since I relocated my shift cable on 90 lever arm and i added my own metal stops. No chances of over shifting and breaking shift forks. My shifter is ultra short i don't even have to move the shifter more than a half inch to engage in all gears. It's sick.I have no more grinding and slop in gear selector.I can go throw the gears violently now. It breathed new life into my DSM. Best thing since sliced bread...LOL :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

nice i'm happy for you man, is this mod also for 2g?
I know how you feel, everytime i fix or improve something on my car i'm in love with it all over again :p :thumb: :dsm: :talon: :laser:
