Im glad that we can still share information like this ,because if it wasnt like this, I would have probably bought and wasted my money on a jdm suspension system that wasnt for my application nor do me any good at all.

Thank you to all the dsm tuners which have chimed in on this topic of a proper 2g dsm suspension system. ;)
 
Some good news on the Koni front:

I had a set of rears on the dyno today, in preparation for speccing out springs.

At full hard, they were nowhere near close to each other, and the forces themselves were insane. But by 1 turn off, they had calmed down and were actually matching each other, and even stayed in synch all the way down to full soft.

These are the first Konis I've ever seen that could be set to one extreme (full soft in this case) and actually match. That gives you a turn and a half of useable adjustment.

This things just keep on impressing me. The DSM Konis are the best behaved Konis I've ever dealt with, and are impressive for an entry level shock in their own right. These are good, solid shocks.

Yes, the flat spring at the bottom is a helper spring. It keeps everything lined up if the main spring completely unloads at droop.

Wow, not to sound like a troll or an eager beaver willing to lay carpet but Dennis I see it's finally complete and It does look like a worth while suspension system to conside since you said you put x amount of work into it.

You said you were in talks with the board does this mean you will be becoming a true full fledged vendor soon? If so what can we expect ?


When I first saw the picture I was a bit confused considering alot of ### coil over systems have their helper springs on the top versus your setup which has them on the bottom, but springs are springs so I guess it doesnt really make much of a difference.

Im pretty shure anybody who's interested in getting into autocross would look at this sytem considering you've done most of the math .

As far as certain other members are concerned,Please dont be so shallow as to think I am running around trying to polish up other shoes ,not the case or scanerio . Im just giving credit where its do. Im shure no body said jack all when I gave credit to guys running good times or making the sponsorship program.

I dont kiss ass nore do I look at others with my nose stuck up in the air. If you have an issue with they way I wrote something then I'll edit it ,considering I might have written it when I was half asleep just getting in from my second job.

Im excited about a no bull@#$% suspensions system , if jtmcinder or mr.awd made a bolt on c.o.p system I would praise you to , but you havent , mostly just made smart ass comments ,so I dont praise you, deal with it. I dont suck @#$% and dont intend to ,so To clarify, I gave credit where it was do . Now if most of you guys where to take the anitiative instead of hypothetically throwing numbers around then I would change my tune .

Dont take offence, just take it as honest e- critascism WTF .Hey most of you have a wealth of knowledge, so instead of using it as a bully method, educated .

Thats it ,my posts have been explained as just a thumbs up, I hope their isnt a problem with that.
