I got my type-s today but havent had a chance to try a testfit with this flange. Will it be a bolt on thing, i assume since its attached to plastic/rubber its not a welding job. Anyone?

I got the type-s too, ur best bet is to invest in an aftermarket upper i/c pipe. I got a full greddy upper and lower pipe kit for 200, its worth it.

It's suppose to be placed inside the stock plastic end where the stock bov was connected to and clamped down. I had one and it fit like shit and I couldn't ever get it on right. The stock plastic pipe is narrow and restricting air flow. Just get a aftermarket upper ic pipe wit the type-s flange it is a good investment.

Just as eric said. THe Type-S fits on the 1G flange no problem you only need to drill two new screw holes to hold the greddy down, otherwise it's the same.

The flange is a little smaller so when I did this, I also ground off the excess metal so that the flange was also smaller, but it's hardly noticable if you don't have access to a grinder.
