Oil pressure is high on start-up, I think mine is around 80+ pounds.

Trouble codes can be checked with either a logger/computer if you have an OBD II adaptor, otherwise you can borrow one from Autozone and they will check them for you.

Actually 95-99 are all OBD II only the 1G's were OBD I. I have a 95 Eagle Talon TSi I should know

Yea, I have a 95 as well and its OBD II. It was a requirement for all 96+ vehicles, but Mitsu changed over with their 2g model.
