two little wires that go to the cigarette lighter. Which one goes to which prong?

Alright I have had my center console out for a while on mine. I was planning on putting it back in today and all was well until I ran into two little wires that go to the cigarette lighter. Which one goes to which prong? Either I keep getting them backwards or ones shorted out or something. This is in my 2g.

Why do you think 1 is shorted out? Sounds like you already tried the 2 combinations.
