i want to run 20psi on my stock injectors and stock 14b and i was wondering if the stealth TT fuel pump would flow enough for that setup and boost? i have a rewire kit in the mail and thats going on as soon as it gets here but i know that wont b enough to go that high. Also if the pump would work what in all would i need to install it? i know its a mitsu pump but i doubt its a direct fit.

o and if your wonderin y i just dont buy a walbro 190 its cause ima cheapa$$ and i can get the TT pump for like 30 bucks....LOL

Yes thats a good fuel pump... all you need some wire connectors/crimps and like 2 zipties and that pump will be good to go on the assembly :thumb: However having this pump and your mods you probably shouldn't be running 20psi on pump gas.

well im dont want to run 20psi per say. i have a datalogger and i wanna run as much boost as possible without and knock. the rewire wont give me that much and i figure that pump will make up for the rest. id like to goto a set of 550s and a safc but for right now im gonna keep it cheap and focus more on payin the ride off.

Does anyone have any flow numbers at 13.5V's? A nice chart would be great.

Regardless of your fuel pump size, you won't be able to run much more than 15 psi on stock injectors.

How do you figure this? I have ran 12.05 at ~24psi using stock injectors and the old “NippoDenso” pump (rated around 165lph). This was with VPC set as lean as “Gain” knob would allow.

Granted, this was on race gas and you can get away with a lot of different things with race gas, but numerous people have been running 18-20psi on pump gas and stock injectors.

I believe that TT pump is rated around 220lph, so it is a perfect pump for people who want more than 190lph, but do not feel like dealing with all of the headaches of the 255lph.

please explain why not. my friend is running a 20g turbo w/ stock injectors and walboro 255lph at 18 psi (he also has an evoIII exhaust man., homemade fuel cut defender, greddy profecb, hks vpc, tmo datalogger, and so much other shit i can't remember). though i do know he had the stock injectors cleaned and balanced or whatever you call it when they make them all the same flow rate

did a "wiseman" just say this?

I installed a denso pump out of a twin turbo 3000GT and it was a direct remove and reinstall. It was one of the easiest installs I've ever done on my car. The pump hanger and electrical connections were the same. But maybe a twin turbo stealth is different.

Almost as quiet as stock too.:thumb:

Good luck

Leon, you know as well as I do that I'm talking about pump gas. We're talking about a 14b powered street car here, not a race car.

Any what setup? I sure as hell would not suggest that you try that.

My car knocked at 15 psi on stock injectors, with the 14b.

Are you going to offer any real information to support your point, or will you insist on being a prick?

Let's do a little math, shall we? A well setup 14b powered car at 15 will flow somewhere in the region of 24-25 lb/min of airflow. Four 450 cc/min injectors can flow a total of ~2.4 lb/min of fuel, at 100% duty cycle. Wait, weird. That means you're already leaning the car out past the factory A/F ratios.

You know what else that means? You add much more boost, and you're going to lean out and start to knock.

I said, and I quote "you won't be able to run MUCH MORE." That means that you might be able to run a little more, something like 16 psi. However, you're going to be getting damned close to knocking territory.

This guy wanted to run 20 psi on stock injectors, without a datalogger to see how his car was running. 15 psi is a safe place to stop on stock injectors.
