Turning Down Boost to get more power?

What I really wanted to know is if you have octane numbers like those (110, 118, etc) but unleaded; do you?

Race gas is so expensive that I doubt it's used that much. With 550CC injectors my car fails emmision misserably bad and that's with the cat on. It's leaned out and all but I can only get it to pass with the stock injectors. I'm sure I pollute way more with pump gas then I do with the little amount of race gas that I buy to use at the track.
