Car is a 92 AWD. Picked the car up from the shop went to use the blinker and nothing. I figured it was just the "TURN" fuse in the fusebox. Checked the fuse and it was fine. Tryed my 4-ways and they all worked.

I then looked into the manual to see what i can come up with and it says that the Headlights, turn signals, dimmer switch etc run on the same switch. So I tried the headlights and high beams and they all work. That should rule out the multi function switch.

At this point im stumped, and its just the perfect thing for a cop to see and bust me on anything he can:mad: Im sure this has happed to some of you, so please post what your problem was and how you fixed it. Thanks in advance.

I think you're on the right track looking at the turn signal switch. The contacts for the turn signals inside the switch may be toast.
You might try going to the library to get an electrical schematic if your manual doesn't have one of that part of the circuit. There may be a dedicated relay for the turn signals, but it's usually shared with the hazards.

It may be slightly off the subject but seeing your from penn, its actually not illegal to not use turnsignals seeing its a curtisy not necessarily a law, it is tho in Cal. otherwise all i can say is GL.

i would check the flasher frist and then if thats not it its in the turn signal switch its self they may have broken a little plastic pice inside. i did mine and all i did is was hit it with the back of my hand when i went to pop the hood one day.

Should be the flasher. Most cars have two flashers, one for hazard and one for signals. Start with that if the fuses and bulbs are good. They're usually buried under neath the access panel under the steering column.

I have everything apart now. I found the 4-way relay, but is there another for the turn signals? I also have my column apart. Is there something specific I should be looking at.

There is only one relay for the turn sugnals. I just removed a complete blinker/wiper assembly from a working car. The blinkers still do not work. What else is there to look into.
