... Whats the difference (besides the cat-back stopping at the cat-converter..., turbo back goes all the way - replacing the downpipe, cat, and cat-back area right?)

Whats the difference performance wise?
Sound wise?
... Money wise?

I was looking at my 2 choices, I hear GReddy has a nice SP2 Tone catback exhuast... kool.

And RnR Turbo back (whats the difference between 02 eliminator, and not? ... if u have the eliminator - you still have a 02 sensor hole, or no?)

Or...

Acutally there is a huge difference. SuperStreet did a test on a 99 gst and the cat back exhuast added like 4.5 hp to the wheels and a downpipe without a cat added 34 hp (not sure if that was at wheels/crank). As for the o2 eliminator, I am not really sure. Hopefully someone can shed some light on that subject for you.

My Pick: Turbo Back.

O2 Elimintator eliminates the stock O2 housing you still have the o2 sensor whole just the Housing is part of the Downpipe.

34??? i hope thats not an over exaggeration since im making an o2 back this weekend...kinda thinking that number is a little high though

Ok.. Hmm. Did some reading, thanks for the posts. But I'm still confused. Got afew more questions... Heh.

I figure'd I would go with a turbo exhaust, I don't want to dump to atmo... cops around here are A-holes... wouldn't take long to get pulled over. I'm abit confused about the 02 elimenator deal... if I get that, it just gives me a dump-tube in replace'em for my 02 housing, thats ready for an external wastegate... not a 02 sensor... and where does my 02 sensor get to then? Right now, I don't want an exteranl wastegate, thats down the road most likely, so I would have to get a plain turbo exhaust system, if I wanted to keep my 02 sensor, and not dump? ... and my last, simple question that wasn't really addressed... a turbo-back system, replaces, EVERYTHING? down-pipe/cat/cat-back/muffle...? (Looking at the RnR Turbo back, anyone have any opinions on how it sounds?)

Thanks.. I'll think of more simple questions to ask you guys... Heh...heheh....eh... :D

I am not sure if the article is still on super street but you can try to check it out by going to their website and search for eclipse. I had the hp numbers written down but I could have been wrong. Let me know what you find.

Looking for input from someone that had both, at this point I'm still leaning to turboback, cheaper for the full exhaust system, noise levels will be up higher as compairs to a cat-back exhaust tho?

What is an o2 eliminator?
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7671&highlight=external+dump
Your first question I'm sure is what exactly is an o2 eliminator downpipe. This thread should answer your question without a problem
and give you a few opinions on the o2 eliminator downpipes. This thread will also warn you that it is Illegal in 99% of the area's of the US to dump to the atmosphere because it's unfiltered gases you're releasing to the air.

That explained what an o2 eliminator did.

http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=36305&highlight=external+dump
This explained how low an o2 dump could be and if you wanted it what you would be in for.

As far as which one will be louder? Seems like a catback will be louder because with a turboback you will have less backpressure because you upgraded all the small pipe that comes stock on the car. So turboback will be quieter (sp) than catback.
