I know, Why the hell would you do that? I have a 1.6L DOHC (4G61) engine, and I blew the head gasket, I think im going to replace the HG and drive it through winter till I build a 2.0L. But I want to make my 1.6 n/a to reduce the risk of shit breaking, and to get better MPG, also will keep me out of a bit of trouble ;)

What parts do I need to do this?

LOL i know

everything but the block on my car is from the 4G63t

I dont know how. I have an eclipse GST, but the block is stamped 4G61 (1.6L)

*shrug*

okay, if i can get all the parts free off a 2.0L n/a .. what do i need to convert it? LOL

One power-pack for the compact Japanese-spec Lancer GSR hatches was the 4G61 engine that pushed around 1.6 litres, used DOHCs and a single intercooled turbo to create a maximum of 108kW at 6000 revolution...s

Perhaps this is what you have?

take your turbines out of the turbo so its just the exhaust housing side and the intake side...basicly a hallow turbo.
Please don't do this, if you do you will quickly be blowing oil everywhere and leaking exhaust into your intake.
Best thing to do is grab the headers, downpipe and intake from a N/A and then just block off the coolant and oil lines.

THANK YOU!!

That is what I wanted :)

As to your comment psychlow, i have no clue, it came with the car :thumbdown

LOL i dont know, i dont have any idea what the specs of this engine are, i dont think it is suppost to be turbo, which is why i want to un-turbo it, so the compression might not be horrible :|
