When I bought my talon, it came with a turbo timer along with other things. When I turn off my ignition and the timer kicks in, I would lock the doors and leave the car. When I return, the doors are unlocked. It seems my timer unlocks the doors when it finally cuts the car off. Any advice how to make an adjustment so it won't do that

Different cars have different affects with installing a turbo timer! My TSI will idle and everything in the car will stay on like the radio and gauges until it shuts off! But while the timer is counting down I can't lock it with the remote so i have to lock it before i get out with the power locks, Once it shuts off then i can unlock it or lock it with my keyless entree. My buddy's Evo its the opposite everything with shut off and he can lock it with his remote and walk away and the car will idle until the timer counts down! Unless yours is wired weird or wrong! Hope this helps!:thumb: - Ryann :talon:

For got to ask what kind of turbo timer do you have me and my boy have the Apexi Turbo Timer!

I have a GReddy turbo timer. Its kind of a pain to have to sit there and wait(defeats the purpose of having it) if the doors would stay locked then it would be great

Check out vfaq.com. I know when I installed my TT my car would lock, but the security wouldn't activate. Im 99% sure there is a writeup on An install because a few wires must get cut and routed to new locations. But after that, it worked great! So check that out.
