turbo timer on a 2g w/factory alarm

yes, i searched..but results were not definitive. It seems that some ppl installed the timer with the factory alarm without requiring any other modification. While others followed the vfaq tutorial for bypassing the fuse. So my question is are any other modification needed to install the timer or is it truly plug and play? BTW im installing a blitz dc4.

mine works fine with the factory alarm system. i've never had a problem. when i get out i just lock the door from the inside, the security light comes on, and i take off.

Factory alarm does not arm while the turbo timer is counting down. No modifications needed on my car. I have a blitz Fatt.
