is there anything that i should be worried about when putting on a stage 1 turbo kit?? i have heard about people who have blown the transmission or something because they put a turbo kit on it. also can i just put a stage 2 turbo kit w/o ever having to put a stage one on first?? :dsm:

LOL!
you really mean 20 inch spinners.
that will give you an extra star.

Anyway, to actually try and help you out.

People have alot of problems with 3rd gear stripping out on them when running around 15+ psi.
Here is a good basic turbo read for ya. You'll learn a couple things from this on turboing a vehicle.

You'll want to go with a Stage 1 to start with. It will allow you to get comfortable with the concept of turboing, and you'll start to learn more and more about what you need.
Once you're got it figured out, you'll say "The hell with Stage X crap"
Read over the N/T Turbo forum and you'll learn alot of info. I just spent about 5 minutes there and gathered a ton of info.

Where to buy:
Check out the reviews section for members viewpoints concerning the different kits out there. Hahn and Star both make kits I believe though.

IPT makes trannies for the 420A I believe. Check out their site at http://www.importperformancetrans.com/mitsubishiauto.shtml
Good luck blowing up one of those.

Engine gets a little trickier. You'll have to build the bottom end up and the head. Then there's fuel and knock thrown into the equation. Lets not forget about timing either. There are alot of things needed to make a 420A into a powerhouse. It takes alot of time and money, but I'm sure it can be done. Your best bet would be to read the N/T forums. The guys there have alot more experience with that sort of thing. I've only made one N/T turbo, so I don't have nearly as much experience as our guys here do.
