I have a 1990 Eclipse GSX, as I start to crank it up, it takes about 10 seconds for it to crank, then as I drive it, when I hit boost, the car starts to misfire, and like choke up in the powerband, and the boost gauge is going back and forth, I've been doing some research, and I figured I just need a better ignition system, because i'm running some crappy NGK V-power spark plugs, and some autolite wires, so if I replace them with some iridum's and some better wires, would that get rid of the problem, my friend told me to just get a MSD ignition system, and one person told me I need a new wastegate acutator but i'm not sure what's the problem so any answers would be helpful!

First, if you DO get new plugs, do NOT get platinums. They run like crap in our cars. You'll feel like you're pulling an anchor and your gas mileage will plummet. I'm not sure about iridiums. For the price of one iridium, you could buy four copper NGK's. Ditch the Autolite wires too. Make sure the plugs are gapped right, and check for boost leaks.

Since your car is stock the plugs you need to get are NGK BPR6ES. Those are the only plugs you should run in your car. If and once you began to seriously mod your car you want to switch to NGK BPR7ES, but for right now stick with the BPR6ES. As for gapping them correctly you want them gapped at .028. Magnecore 8.5mm wires are the best choice of wires. Replace your plugs and wires with those and then comeback. You are off to a good start.
True you do need to get an aftermarket boost Gauge because the factory one is not reliable at all. A boost leak tester will also be one of your best friends along with a pocketlogger as long as you own a dsm.
Start there with those two things and let us know how it turns out.

will do thanx for the help, and i'll let you guys know how it turns out!

I forgot to add, while you are at it check your turbo for shaft play. It should not be ab le to move more than 1/8" side to side and none up and down. Lets not rule out your turbo starting to die, especially if it is old and has a lot of miles on it.
