That is something you would need to contact the company about. Generally you would have 2 flanges, one at the pan and the other at the turbo; just like the hard line.

Yes eBay can have cheap products but a real kit from a support g vendor isn't much more and you will know for sure that you have the fittings. Also the eBay fittings are not the greatest and I would be concerned about them leaking and not to mention what is "JDM stainless steel line"?

Here is a link to one of our vendors. There are more out there so don't feel stuck with only these options or prices.

EXTREME PSI : Your #1 Source for In Stock Performance Parts - Turbo Accessories

You could just take that line that always leaks and cut the center part out, throw on some rubber hose and clamps, and be done with it for $10.

I did this and it was slightly better than the stock flex, but still a PITA. I tried stainless Steel braided from ExtremePSI. Good kit, but the 10-AN is bloody hard to get in the right place as they have a 90* and Straight. I'm getting ready to go to 45* and see if it fits any better.

As for the Ebay kit I has a flange to mount to the turbo and a Bung to weld on the pan. If you look closely enough you'll see the bung screwed into the fitting.

All in all this has to be one of the most awkward things to do on or car. Somebody has to have the perfect answer!!

Push lock is easier to work with. The thing about a weld in Bung is you will need to take the pan off. IMO if you went that route you would be better off enlarging the hole to a -12AN and welding In the corresponding size for future use. There are reducers to fit onto the -12.

This was my setup for a while when I had a 16g installed using a -10 drain when I knew I would require a -12 drain for the Holset I am currently using. Even for the larger Garrets, the -10 isn't as sufficient as it should be.

But all-in-all, if this is all you plan on doing, a stock replacement drain will work fine for the 16g.

I was thinking about the PushLok kit ExtremePSI has:hmm: thinking it would be more pliable to work the short distance and strange angle to the pan. I was hoping to save a few bucks as I lost my original fittings, during a clean out, but still had 10-AN hose and was going to buy some new fittings, but for a couple extra bucks I'll splurge and buy the Pushlok kit. Definitely won't be going to bigger turbo any time soon, so I'll stick with 10-AN, but good to know about the size issue.:thumb:

Yep i had the pushlock, personally i went back to the oem last winter and cleaned up all my leaks, and oil, whew. With my stock turbo im always using oem when i get a holset, or fp turbo.
