Turbo rebuilt now boost related problem

I just got my turbo rebuilt and it is so much better than before and it solved my smoking problem. But here is the thing if I start building boost and then let off the gas completely the boost continues to go up for a moment after my foot is off the throttle then goes down like it should. Yes this is on the stock boost gauge on my car but my car is completely stock so it should read decently right. So my question is whats wrong it seems to drive fine except for this. And if this could be related tell me http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=228456 I still cant figure out where this wire goes. Any help is greatly appreciated.

This problem is not the turbos fault. When theres exhaust pressure it spins faster thats all it does...it has no choice. If, in your last post oldman is correct Im guessing you could be getting faulty readings to your gauge. Now, even working properly...that stock gauge sucks. I would, even if you plan on keeping the motor stock, just get a boostgauge. They are like 30-50 bucks for a nice autometer on ebay and its really a very simple, but well worth it install.

If the bov wasnt opeining, you would hear a kind of flutter sound fafafafafa and then the cars rpms would dwindle very low and then come back to opperating level. Since you still have the 2G bov Ill bet my left arm its not staying closed when you let off the throttle. I, personally would start with the gauge.
