Turbo rebuild question

That is a possibility as I don't know much about what happened with this car before I got it. I have another question to ask before I finish this up and throw it on. I was reading that there is a restrictor on the oil line but mine just has a piece of hard line. What problems would this create if any?

An oil restrictor is more for feeding the turbo from the oil filter housing,, as well as for Ball bearing turbo's....All it does is restrict the oil pressure to the turbo..You should not need it for your t25.

I'm going to ask justin, and come back and edit this post..

EDIT 1..Justin is not online right now..So I will get back to you when I hear something..

Alright please let me know cause if the lack of its presence is a factor in this. I will get the proper line that's not a big deal, I'm just trying to rule out any variables.

1g's are fed from the head..So I don't have this problem..

All 2g's are fed from the OFH and come with a restrictor from the factory..

my car has a 1g head so ive got the same oil feed line as you. the hole in the banjo fitting seems like a restrictor to me... definitely not a free flowing straight through line. ROFL

All 1G's are restricted to around .070" within the head's feed line at the banjo end at the turbo. Photo's a little dark and may be hard to see on certain computers:

That's interesting, considering after I answered your question in the other thread you came back with:

You really need to stop posting about things you're unsure of, Bud. You're not a hero if you say one thing then go ask someone else a question pertaining to the topic then come back to this thread and report your findings which may be completely different than what you originally said. The negative reputation feature is in place to keep guessing like that to a minimum.

I have also never looked inside the banjo for the oil feed...I heard learned two things already today...

I have an aftermarket SS oil feed..Next time I have it of I'm gonna take a look..
