turbo problems

my turbo is clicking i no nothing about taking apart a turbo to see what is wrong, my friend has the same turbo he will sell to me cheap but i also like to try to fix mine for practice since i dont no alot about it any advice will help. its a 16g turbo it came with the car when i bout it and it looks fairly old

My advice if your not too confident that you know what your doing, either dont do it or have someone who knows what their doing do it. If you do it yourself, make sure you have it balanced when your done. If your friends turbo is in good shape, might not be a bad idea to pick it up just in case.

ya i mean i was going to use his but i just wanted to see if i can fix mine for the fun of it but ill keep the good one in my car

you should rebuild it is not that hard

it probally has shaft play like crazy not that hard to rebuild but if its a little turbo i whould just buy a 16g
